Project 3 Bensley

introduction

Bensley is a short profile documentary about classmate Alex Bensley. Directed by Alex, Marcus is the DP and co-editor. Bensley is a short profile that introduces us to Alex and his passion for acting. Alex takes us through his philosophy on stage and off stage sharing his latest project, a NEU threatre production of Urinetown, and his hopes for the future.

The proposed timeline is roughly 5 minutes long. It will be shot in 1080 HD with an aspect ratio of 16:9, export settings will be 1080 16:9 releasing in pro-ress 422 and h.264 vbr 2 pass.

Postproduction will be done in Final Cut Pro collaboratively between Alex and Marcus. There is a set December pre-release for the NEU Production Capstone Fall ‘19. In addition to an in-class release, distribution for the film will be through the festival circuit including student regional film festivals.
